FORTE LAUNCHES RECONCILE – THE FIRST LICENSED FLUOXETINE FOR DOGS
We were delighted to launch Reconcile, the first and only licensed fluoxetine for dogs at London Vet Show 2021!
It was wonderful to be back with our customers in real life at London ExCel from 11-12th November. Our stand was extremely busy the entire time, and we loved discussing this exciting new product. We also sponsored an extremely well attended session in the main programme, where Dr Sarah Heath FRCVS spoke on “More than one option : For the dog with a separation related behaviour problem”.
Reconcile® contains fluoxetine hydrochloride and is indicated for as an aid in the treatment of separation-related disorders in dogs manifested by destruction and inappropriate behaviours (vocalisation and inappropriate defaecation and/or urination) and only in combination with behavioural modification techniques.
Following many successful years in the US and Canada, Reconcile® has a pan-European license, with a phased roll-out launching in 15 countries initially.
Reconcile® is available in chewable, once-a-day, tablets in 4 sizes including 8mg, 16mg, 32mg, and 64mg to allow dosing of small to large dogs and are flavoured with artificial beef for acceptance.
